What happens during a private lesson?

Private lessons are a wonderful way to improve your skills and explore music beyond the band room! We Students have the opportunity to experience a one-on-one session with the private lesson instructor. Private lessons are offered either in-person or live online. Typically each lesson will occur once a week for 25 minutes or another requested amount of time.  All lesson fees are paid directly to the private instructor one month in advance.

Type of lessons offered:

1. In-person (depends on location/date/time)

2. Online (skype, facetime, zoom, etc.)

Studio Fee

A one-time Studio Fee of $10 will be required to be a member of Ms. Rice’s clarinet studio. This required studio fee is an investment in your lessons. The fee covers the cost of materials that are regularly provided to students such as: sample reeds from established brands (Vandoren, D’ddario, Gonzales, etc.) or other small clarinet accessories such as mouthpiece patches, etc. The value of membership in Ms. Rice’s clarinet studio is that you gain the opportunity to learn from a highly trained and actively performing professional musician.
